Tested a new clay with paper fibre. It’s crazy how your brain gets used to work with certain bodies and change feels hard. I was frustrated at first but managed to build this little sculpture. It reminds me of the beautiful boulders here in Cape Town or the man made rock piles you find on some hikes.
Let’s hope the kilns have mercy with this new clay 🔥

It’s really that easy with our pottery kits.

We used a coiling technique to create this wonky vase and added some bicarbonate of soda (baking soda) to our paint to give this vase some texture.
